On the this day, back in 1792, the United States Postal Service was established. But there's no need to be postal today. It's Friday. But in rememberence of our forefather's drink a Sam Adams and celebrate. But if you want to be postal, drink a case of icehouse. At least that what works for me.
Today is also Kurt Cobain's birthday. Nirvana was always a favorite band of mine in my younger years. It was tragic how Kurt left us. In honor of creating grunge and inspiring a whole new generation of bands, raise a glass for Kurt today!

Today we celebrate Tony Iommi's birthday, the legendary guitarist from Black Sabbath. I always appreciated listening to the song Iron Man after 8 beers or so, and then chill with the song "Sweet Leaf", if you know what I mean.

We are now exactly one month away from the great drinking holiday of St. Patrick's day. So drive over to your nearest bar or liquor store and celebrate. Remember, the best way to enjoy St. Patrick's day is to build up enough tolerance to last the whole day. Don't be the guy passing out in the middle of the afternoon, because you weren't ready. Get yourself prepared to hang the entire day with the Irish!
